BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate). This number of calories reflects how much energy your body requires to support vital body functions if, hypothetically, you were resting in bed for an entire day.
TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure). This reflects the entire amount of calories, or energy, your body burns during a given day when you’re sleeping, ingesting and digesting food, working and exercising.
Please note that the result of the calculation is an approximate value of energy demand. All persons act individually and not likely to live in the same way every day. Changes in body weight do not happen a day, and one day of excess energy can compensate for the second day of the minus calorie intake. The only way to know if the energy supply is in the balance is to monitor the changes in your body weight over time. Weigh yourself e.g. once a week and adjust the energy intake and training program.
